Sacramento isn't a bad location, but isn't great either. 1.5hr from bay area, a few hours from skiing slopes.

Relaxed day with the residents being very laid back and friendly. Interview day divided up well so that individual groups seemed small (5 per tour and interview slot). Nice, short tour. One interviewer seemed disinterested and rushed and kept cutting me o
- Program Advantages:
Chicago is a great city, facilities are nice, faculty and residents are down to earth and personal. Daily schedule and call schedule seem awesome.
- Program Disadvantages:
Not the best Chicago program, whatever that means.

Residents, especially the seniors, are very nice and helpful. It's in Boston. Brand new facilities that will finished 2011, with a whole new floor dedicated to ophtho. PD is a very people person.

I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel. Large interview group, seemed a bit awkward when waiting with so many other people in one conference room and the residents mostly talking to themselves. 5 interviews with 2-3 faculty each; well organized and on time u

Large program, seemingly on the rise. In the middle of Manhattan. Very very nice facilities and resident housing.
- Program Disadvantages:
In the middle of Manhattan, very busy area, which is up to your personal preferences.

Difficult finding parking on the streets. Waited out in a hallway trying to listen to residents talk about the program. 3 interviews with panels. Faculty all seemed down to earth and friendly--very apparent 'Brooklyn' attitudes. Best interview food ever

Strong research, major part of SUNY eye institute. Faculty really seem involved.
- Program Disadvantages:
Busy area. County-like population. Area not so great and hard to find parking.
