 6 interview, 3 hour tour of all the facility, lunch, pre-interview dinner
Positive
Visited hospitals where residents rotate. 7 or 8 one on one interviews with faculty. Lots of driving.
Kind of weird vibes from both the residents and the faculty. A lot of the residents were SDA and it showed.

Good surgical volume, affliation with navy so you do refractive surgery (~160 eyes), supportive staff, great pathology (VA and county)

In the middle of nowhere. Subspecialities lacked depth of faculty.
cover 5 hospital that is spread out (30-40 mins driving) during call
cover lot of territory on call
7th Day advantist so a little bit religious, doesn't necessarily have to be a disadvantage but I felt a little out of place. Poor reputation.
