Interview Experiences
4 2-on-1 interviews, tour of city/facilities, well organized, pretty laid back.
Program Advantages
Strong surgical numbers and clinical experience. You will leave this institution being a strong general ophthalmologist. There is a lot of pathology which you will see, and it is a level one trauma center.
Solid training, solid numbers, nice facilities, very nice VA
Program Disadvantages
Q3 call as intern, but if you're looking to learn a lot this could be an advantage. Also, they recently switched to fri-sun call on the weekends so you're only on call one weekend of the month.
Maybe a little too much supervision
