The economy has hit Royal Oak (but not as bad as Detroit they say). Location was a disadvantage to me although everybody who was from Michigan told me it was the safe area outside of Detroit.

Education. Curriculum. Many call it a 'hidden gem.' Fellowships obtained by graduates. Volume in almost every department.

Although they have a good curriculum when you start, I think it will come back to bite you in the end because when you finish your Exam of the Future PGY4, you will have little/no elective opportunities PGY5 and likely be abused for your work instead of t

Start learning radiology on Day 1... Internal moonlighting was incredible. Cost of living in Columbia - the best on the interview trail.

IR seemed weaker (volume-wise) compared to other places but all the residents said they loved the IR attendings and they make money internally with IR call I think through their internal moonlighting stuff.
