Interview Experiences Interviewed with two chiefs at the same time who pretty much told me about the program, then interviewed with the PD and two other faculty. Ended with lunch with two residents. Very laid back and friendly experience. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Advantages Tons of path, especially trauma (only Level 1 trauma center in OKC). Residents seem to get a lot of good fellowships. Residents felt their only weak area was IR. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Disadvantages The workload has been a notorious disadvantage with this program, with residents in the past supposedly being worked to the bone and not having time to study for Boards. The residents I talked to felt that this was no longer as big of an issue. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
