Good day, laid back. great No interview with program director other than small talk at ice cream social. Dinner night before at residents house. Nice, laid-back day with ice cream and cake at the end. Ranked #10 PD is really nice Fun day with ice cream! Large interview groups was a turn off for me. Happiest residents on the interview trail. I was convinced I would get the best education here which was important to me for the Exam of the Future. Very laid back atmosphere. Didn't know what to expect and really liked what I saw. Faculty and Residents were all very nice Very impressed. Great program. Residents were very nice and laid back. PD and faculty easy to talk to; residents very happy with training Very organized interview day. Interviewed with two attendings and one chief resident. We then went on a tour of the facilities with two residents. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17

Excellent facilities, huge volume of pathology Good institution name. High volume, friendly people, nice facilities, decent moonlighting. Very up to date on board changes. Great moonlighting. Strong institution with a great variety of cases and large case load. Education. Fellowships (especially MSK). Moonlighting (TONS of Internal Moonlighting). Future career opportunities after residency. Dedicated to education. Huge volume. Excellent moonlighting, with contrast call starting as R1. I felt the education was as good here as anywhere I saw. Would have been very happy to match here Great MSK, high volume high volume, busy call, big medical center that seems to get everything... would have been happy to match there The facilities are incredible. Numerous CT and MR scanners. They will also receive a new cyclotron and Pet/MR. The residents were incredible and nice. Moonlighting is awesome for a university program. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Disadvantages Seemed to be a labor intensive program and their boards perfomance was sub-optimal. Seemed to be a labor intensive program and their boards perfomance was sub-optimal. duodenation dystrophy picture prebetrothal drybrained pycnonotinae bardesanite storehouse

Research not encouraged. Birmingham not everyone's cup of tea. The Deep South, smallish city. Chair of selection committee is kinda strange and rubbed many applicants the wrong way. Some people may see lots of work and tough call as a disadvantage? None for me. Maybe birmingham for some, though it's a neat city and low COL. Birmingham was not the nicest city I visited, but if you are married and want a house, it is affordable None really...The program does not appear to be labor intensive as someone else described. A resident informed me that their board pass rate was above the national average. Apparently they have a couple of attendings who will be involved in writing some 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
