This site is a community resource for prior residency match applicants to share their experiences with future applicants. This site indexes 18856 profiles who have applied to a total of 905582 programs.

Site Mission
MatchApplicants.com is a free of charge resource for medical students applying to residency to share their experiences with future applicants. The information in profiles will never be distributed or sold, and no advertising will ever be mailed to persons who leave their e-mail address on this site. Any profile listed as anonymous on the site will remain anonymous for eternity. Likewise, it is expected that no one visiting this site will use or abuse the resources herein, including publishing all or part of the information here in a manner that does not benefit other applicants. The integrity of the database, and the usefulness of the data for future applicants, is dependent upon the community at large. Violators of this policy will be castigated and castrated; play nice.
While a minimum of care is taken to ensure that hateful, damaging, and libelous material is not present on this site, I simply am not able to police this content. MatchApplicants is not responsible for the comments placed on this site by its users, and each individual user will need to use their better judgement to rise above any petty offenses, and to take all comments with a grain of salt in their proper context.

About The Administrator
The administrator is a graduate of Stanford University and the Bryn Mawr College Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program. Prior to pursuing a career in medicine, he worked in several software engineering and information design jobs, including time at Microsoft and Modem Media. During the application process he worked at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine Center For Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics. Currently, the author is a member of the Class of 2007 at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His interests lie in ophthalmology, medical informatics, and experience design.
