Interview Experiences Good day, friendlt people Dinner with residents night before. Average interview day, positive experience. So easy and casual. PD is so nice. Great place. More PP oriented Very nice people. PD is funny, he puts you to play a computer game to find missing parts of pictures, fun. Do not be uptight about it, probably wont do you any good. 10/20. Five interviews. Fun computer game with the PD. Bitter residents. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Advantages Young, motivated PD. Good vibes from residents and staff. PP oriented, Omaha has cheap cost of living Strong divisions of radiology. PD is energetic and young. Very interdisciplinary feel. First year rotations are organized in a smart way--3 week blocks with the cores repeated. Friendly Midwest atmosphere. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Disadvantages Omaha... meh. Education appeared solid but average for Midwest programs I visited. Its in Nebraska (middle of nowhere and COLD), although Omaha impressed me. Was not expecting much from it, but actually had a great time. Went to a hockey game, ate some renowned beef, walked the entire city.
Not the place to go if you are interested 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
