Interview Experiences
Ranked #9
AWESOME
Most relaxed day on the interview trail. I really liked the program director, faculty, and residents. Everyone seemed very happy and friendly
Standard interview day.
interviewed with 3 faculty, all laid back
Relaxed feel.
Program Advantages
Loved this program
Charleston is a huge plus. Top-notch cardiac guru Schoef, Huda does physics. ART hospital is amazing with outstanding Angio suites. High quality faculty, although faculty/resident ratio about 1:1
Everything! Teaching-focused faculty, top-notch facilities, industry connections, pioneers in multiple subspecialties (esp. mammo, IR, neuro), great co-residents, awesome location.
excellent location, excellent pathology, new facilities
Ranked #3
Good program size. Take care of you. Great town.
Program Disadvantages
No internal moonlighting, and really didn't do much til R3-R4 years, but I was told one could easily double salary in R3-R4.
Muy caliente in the summer
no disadvantages
