Rochester General Hospital program: Compeating program to University of rochester. Small community program run by private practice. Has struggled to fill its 4 seats the past 2 years. Nice PD. Resient seem to get along well. Not very academic.

Texas medical center is impressive with Methodist hospital, Texas Childrens, MD Anderson, Herman, LBJ, VA. Great research opportunities with MD Anderson, would have ranked #1 if not for family.

Its a crazy process, but if you play your cards right, things will work out in the end. For american graduates, more than 80% match at their top 3 and over 50% match at their top place. I matched at my top choice. If you really want to go to a certain program, dont be afraid to let that program know through email or via your personal statement.
