Interview Experiences Excellent weak program 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Advantages good faculty, teaching PD is an awesome guy, very personable and focused on improving the residency program as much as he can. Lots of autonomy during night float. Very few fellows. Boston. great pediatrics, good research support, energetic PD, residents seemed happy Heart of Boston. Chinatown nearby. Charismatic PD. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Disadvantages small, holes in certain departments Recently turned into a level 2 trauma center (but the residents say they get adequate trauma exposure). in general, pathology seems very split among the glut of Boston programs, so I actually ranked all the Boston programs I applied to pretty far down my list. Small for an academic hospital. So-so fellowship matches. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
