Interview Experiences breakfast, intro by PD, tour, 3 interviews, awesome lunch Have a strange intro talk, followed by 3 interviews, then a tour and lunch with attendings and residents. PowerPoint did not work, but sent to us immediately thereafter
Interviews with chief resident, PD, and APD, very relaxed, asked about radiology interest, research, and questions about program 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Advantages Very nice hospital, very good research opp's, responsive PD, excellent pathology. molecular imaging, pain management, great IR, very nice facilities High volume with lots of diversity and pathology. Friendly PD, relatively new clinical facilities and good technology. Diversity of pathology
Outstanding fellowship placements, especially for IR
Good size
Research production is strong 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Disadvantages In not so safe part of Philly. location In a bad part of Philly, seems like the hospital is having rough financial times. Evidently some attendings do not like teaching. Call schedule is a little on the rougher side, but that's how you learn. Strongly recommend ranking this program highly. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
