Grilled somewhat inappropriately over research by one interviewer saying that she did not think that anyone did the surgery I was associated with anymore. Every resident continually spoke of how they worked harder than any program.

Work schedule sounds horrendous.

Augusta is terrible. Masters sounds nice but that week is horrendous for residents of the city.

Residents continually talked about how much money they made working there and how they could make a lot more moonlighting in Mississippi and Arkansas.
- Program Advantages:
Moonlighting galore. No trauma if that's not your thing. Paid to take call and IR call. Seem very well connected.

No trauma experience.

Great relaxed pre-interview dinner. Helpful residents. Interviews were laid back. Sat in on noon conference with Cardenosa (big name in mammo, wrote the book). Still do hot seat at conference, and she was laying into the residents. Told this was not usual
- Program Advantages:
Good size program (10) gives good cover for call. Has big names in Mammo and great abdominal imaging. Protective of conference room so no eating in noon conference, so you then get protected extra time to eat lunch.
- Program Disadvantages:
Hot seat noon conferences still in place.

You are the one person that day. You sit for a very long time with the program coordinator in one room. Interviews were relaxed.
- Program Advantages:
Interview comes with TY interview, which is a great year. Program not resident dependent.

Very small.
