very nice late start 10:45am, let us sleep in. didn't like that interviews were much later in the day; interviewers seemed tired. Of note, this was the only place on the trail where 2 interviewers (including PD) were not at all familiar with my applicati No Dinner
Interviews were offered first week in November and you had to schedule your own using an online program, dates fill up fast so respond right away.
Late start 10:45AM-6:00PM
Meet and Greet from 5-6, Everyone stayed for it, so book a flight af Overall very laid back, loved it. No dinner which is strange. Starts later in the day (10:45). Interview w/ big time faculty. Change in the call schedule has made this program more attractive. Is now a night float. location, program, lots of great perks, 8am start every day! Awesome training
Elective time for research

Some Moonlighting available Living in SF seemed fairly affordable thanks to annual housing & relocation bonuses, but this still made me nervous! The best clinical training of any place I interviewed at. The county and the VA are sweet opportunities for residents. Located in SF. Great research, T32, UCSF name. Research is strong, multiple hospitals to cover may be good/bad, awesome PD, fantastic location, housing bonus Best name on west coast? Tons of research. Housing bonus! Great residents. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17

in my brief experience there on interview day, there seems to be some malignancy; also did not get to meet many residents at all High cost of living Residents aren't as happy as you'd think. MSK is not great. SF is expensive. rotate at many hospitals (which many residents liked) but decreases comraederie Multiple hospitals to cover, teleconference many lectures Lots of call. Cover half a dozen hospitals? Expensive city (but you get what you pay for). 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
