Interview Experiences
New PD from Yale. He is eager to recruit the best fellowship trained instructors and high quality residents. In my opinion, an up and coming boutique program.
Very good. Everyone is very friendly.

Program Advantages
$17 mil invested in new equipment in 2008: 64 slice CT, new MRIs, and more to come. New faculty trained at the biggest names in rads (not difficult to recruit people to Miami). The hosp overlooks the Biscayne Bay and the view is absolutely breathtaking.
Working on becoming more academic. Literally right on the water.
The hospital is right next to water. Attendings are very good, they are young and enthusiastic about teaching. Residents are down to earth, very friendly. Ranked 4/20.
Busy, residents well prepared after graduation Amazing facilities
Nice young faculty, PD very open to making the program what you want out of it. Right on the water

Program Disadvantages
Community program with U. of M. right next door.
Small program (only 4 residents). Not a level 1 trauma. Pathology is not as broad as Jackson Memorial.
the beach and weather might be too distracting.
