Interview Experiences
Residents seemed less relaxed and/or happy than other locations.
Everyone was very nice, had a group interview with 2 other applicants.
Program Advantages
Island life if you choose.
Nice hospital, on beautiful grounds.Great climate, beach is right there (not the best beach but its a beach).
Program Disadvantages
Staff seemed weak(er), residents not as satisfied. A distinct feeling that they couldn't wait to be done with training to get out of the area. Program/hospital still in rebuilding after hurricane.
Galveston has been hit hard by the Hurricanes, and it still recovering. Many abandoned houses.
