Great resident education. Young, energetic PD and great PC. Big program with family feel. Great hospitals to draw from with good volume. Research strongly encouraged with protected time availible. Short drive to Chicago

Undervalued name despite high quality of program.

Small program with limited research equipment (although this seemed to be changing). No nightfloat and lots of call.

Great conferences. One of few programs where I remembered the topics covered
- Program Advantages:
The Program director and faculty are awsome. The emphasis on resident eductaion. High calibre referring specialties resulting in significant pathology and large volume. Good amount of protected research time. Great neuro and MSK sections.
- Program Disadvantages:
Trauma experience is at another hospital. Cold weather and snow.

Sat in conference room for hours while other applicants interivew. PD wierd. Dr. King was great, several of the residents a balst to talk to.
- Program Advantages:
Good equpment, good research posibilites and encouraged.
- Program Disadvantages:
PD was odd. The program seemed to lack direction.
