| Chicago, GREAT lectures and teaching, moonlighting ($$$), peds trauma center. call is q14-17 (no NF) | - Program Disadvantages:

Maryland Johns Hopkins U: | | | - Applied - Attended interview - Interview Experience:
| 6 11-minute interviews - felt very rushed. Faculty are nice, a little odd, but friendly when you engage them. Some of the residents are pretty cool, some are super nerdy. Only met a few of them, most did not come to the applicant lunch. | - Program Advantages: - Program Disadvantages:
| Baltimore, but I've been there for 3.5 years and its really not that bad. PD and other faculty were nice enough but not particularly friendly. Didn't really connect with anyone I met there - couldn't see myself working with them for 4 years. |

| Dinner was awesome! Love the residents. Breakfast and mtg with program directors, then interviews. residents were in and out of the conf room talking to us. Very nice. 3 20 min interviews (1 assnt PD, 2 faculty). noon lecture was really good | - Program Advantages:
| The lectures here are the best I've seen, faculty is very dedicated. Residents are not overworked on service, although call is hard. Everyone is happy and chill. | - Program Disadvantages:

| No dinner the night before. PD is well known and Hopkins trained. | - Program Advantages:
| Lots of pathology and volume. Nothing really special about it tho (In fact I asked the PD what made it unique and he dodged the question). I think people are happy just to be near NYC. | - Program Disadvantages:
| Didn't leave this program ever wanting to come back. |

North Carolina Pennsylvania Albert Einsteincare Network: | | | - Applied - Attended interview - Interview Experience:
| Nothing the night before. PD is extremely dedicated to teaching and the well-being of the residents, but is also socially awkward, which I've heard sucks when you read out with him. | - Program Advantages:
| No fellows, lots of hands on experience, very well trained - residents perform very highly on board exams. very accomadating to personal life. residents get great fellowships. most of them live in downtown philly. | - Program Disadvantages:
| I didn't like the one big reading room. Call is brutal. Also, you have to leave for fellowship. Seemed like most residents were married with kids. Also, I know a resident who left the program very recently. |

- Radiology department is being renovated right now
- 2 residents on call overnight (upper level and lower level)
- Brant of Brant and Helms is here
- | - Program Disadvantages:
| - Didn't like Charlottesville. I need a bigger city (not married, don't have kids)
