Interview Experiences
Well organized, everyone was very friendly, residents seemed happy, chairman gave lecture to residents, open to answering all questions
The interview day (building/atmosphere/no breakfast) was long and gloomy. Interviewed DO's and had IMG resident.
mostly a waste of time
Meet with PD, chair, prof
interview with chief, pd, chair
Interview day well planned PD was straightforward, pleasant
Ranked 17/20. Ugly hospital, construction everywhere. I swear my suit was getting dirty just from being there.
4 interviews. Very interesting crowd. Pizza for lunch.

New chairman seems intent on improving the program. PD seems responsive and nice. Projects/capital improvement in near future.
location is nice on LI, inner city-like pathology, subsidized housing

Program Disadvantages
Poor board pass rate, One 1slice CT scanner, No PET/CT, my gut feeling was 4 years of misery
technology is lacking but they rec'd a lot of $ recently
Outdated equipments
I didnt like long island. Small program = large call.
No other stipend besides for AIRP. Really old building. Expensive to live in New York.
