| Chill, but informative: day started at 1ish in the afternoon. Dr. Levi (PD) started with a pretty comprehensive presentation about the program, followed by 3 interviews (2-3 faculty/interview). Concludes with nice dinner/reception. | - Program Advantages:
| Awesome surgical volume (97 %ile cats, 99 %ile plastics), well-respected faculty with huge names in glaucoma/oculoplastics/cornea, just hired big retina guy (Zhang), Savino from Wills (neuro), depth in all specialties. Beautiful facilities. NIH research $ | - Program Disadvantages:
| Busy first year call (q4ish), wet lab on the way, didactics/teaching are ok, surgery backloaded. |

Match Experience Get involved in research, be involved in your community, show your commitment to the field, and be realistic when it comes to putting your rank list together. I matched well and am happy, but I heard many of my co-applicants went farther down their list than they expected.
