Interview Experiences
5 one on one interviews. Nice faculty members. Happy residents.
Presentation by the chief resident, tour, interview with 4 attendings and one resident, and lunch
A few bizarre questions... 'What would you do if you were seeing an open globe in the ER as an intern and your senior, and all attendings refused to come in.'
Half Day interview day, 2 to 1 and 1 on 1 interviews. Great faculty and residents - seemed like a friendly program
Numerous 2:1 interviews. Very friendly faculty.
Program Advantages
Good clinical experience.
high volume of ocular trauma, history of good fellowship matches
Great Surgical Numbers and trauma exposure. Beautiful hospital/nice location
Crab cakes. Great residents. Strong clinical program.
Program Disadvantages
VA hospital is far away.
only 3 residents/yr, and the program could definitely support more residents per year.
Baltimore, small faculty
Residents work hard - not a cush program.
Baltimore. I felt like I was going to get shot in mid daylight.
