Interview Experiences
15 one-on-one interviews. Exhausting. Generally friendly interviews though.
Friendliest interview experience I had. 15 interviews, but it doesn't feel exhausting because they keep you moving, no wasted down-time. Great tour of the multiple facilities
Poor program overview--just showed pictures of Minneapolis. 15 (1 on 1's)--way too many, but I really liked the faculty! All very friendly.
15 interviews (1:1 and 2:1). Long day, but surprisingly fast and efficient. New chair is a very awkward, nerdy, sandals & socks type of guy. He just stares at you during the interview. Everyone else is very laid back and friendly.
6 20 minute interviews, half are one-on-one and half are two-on-one

Program Disadvantages
Chair is leaving. Minneapolis is cold and dark.
None, except that you may freeze your &$^ off in Minneapolis.
Lots of recent change: shift from cornea-strong to retina-strong with new chair. Poor board prep. Cold!
Bundle up, it gets cold in the winter!
-Very very busy call -Small faculty -Lots of commuting to different sites
