Interview Experiences
 3 interviews, lunch, tour
Cold. Started with presentations, mingling with residents and 2 or 3 panel interviews. Lunch at a distant hotel/catering which we walked across the campus (20 minute walk) freezing cold to get to.
All morning interview on Saturday: intro followed by long pause, interviews followed by long pause, tour followed by long pause, lunch
Three 2-1 panel interviews, very laid back interview questions/experience

Program Advantages
wide variety of pathology (VA, county, children's), all the hospital within a mile radius, good surgical number, supportive faculty, location (i'm from the midwest)
Fairly large program.
Good number of residents (6), lots of different hospitals all withing walking distance or shuttle ride, building new stand alone eye institute. New chairman is great.

Chairman doesn't seem to be in a proper state of mind. He accused one of the applicants that she is not 'Asian' and asked her why she is serving in an Asian service organization => She was from India, and last time I checked, India is part of the Asian co
I spoke with a few residents who wish they would have ranked differently, surgical numbers could be better, some residents have had trouble matching into fellowships lately
May not have as competitive fellowship match history as other locations
