Interview Experiences Work environment The most up-to-date beautiful facilities Ive seen. State of the art facilities w/ an AMAZING simulator. Ave. = 55-60 hrs/wk as per residents (although depends on rotation). Uses electronic anesthesia record.

Program Advantages see above Awesome facilities, emphasis placed on resident education. Excellent regional experience. Can do away rotations (condo and car paid for) during the winter months. Residents are not the main workforce. Family friendly. Great new gym to workout in across fr Absolutely amazing program, faculty and facilities. Excellent ICU, pain and cardiac. All numbers easily attained at rochester, but can rotate at other Mayo sites with condo and car provided. Allows moonlighting. Very family oriented. Duh, it's Mayo. Program Disadvantages see above Cold. Nothing. Maybe location. Rochester, MN can be cold, snowy and dreary, which is not for everyone. Residents mostly from midwest and in my opinion seemed quirky. It's huge. but the training is probably excellent.
