Michigan
  Henry Ford Hosp:

Buffet style lunch.
- Program Advantages:
Some really good faculty. Lots of pathology and cases. Chill atmosphere and great moonlighting/benefits.
- Program Disadvantages:
Crappy area, you have to live far away in the suburbs.
  U Michigan:

- Program Advantages:
Great institution with great training. Superb pay and benefits, especially for a place with decent cost of living.
- Program Disadvantages:
Ann Arbor is based around the university. A nice city but made for undergrads and is too far from the beautiful Great Lakes.
  William Beaumont Hosp:

- Program Advantages:
Lots of residents with tons of cases means less call but more than enough volume. Great hospital in the suburbs with cheap cost of living, low crime, and decent houses within walking distrance of hospital.
- Program Disadvantages:
Not a big name university program but still very well known. (they treat their staff very, very well)

New Mexico
  U New Mexico:

- Program Advantages:
The best intern year in the country for a Rad resident. Sunny place with lots of outdoor activities and mountains close by.
- Program Disadvantages:
ABQ isn't for everyone.
North Carolina
  U N. Carolina Hosps:

60 and sunny in January, very nice!
- Program Advantages:
One of the best places in the country to live. Some famous faculty (Mauro IR, Castillo Neuro, Lee, Molina, etc) Great IR. Fantastic weather, affordable cost of living, great training (the residents are usually in the top few in the country on the boards.)

Ohio
  Cleveland Clinic Found:

One of the best dinners in the country.
- Program Advantages:
Happy, nice, and fun residents. Cheap cost of living.
- Program Disadvantages:
Cleveland can be a plus or minus.

Rhode Island
  Brown U:

- Program Advantages:
Very good training. Pushes independence/autonomy. Good moonlighting. Great IR.
- Program Disadvantages:
Not the nicest hospital.

Vermont
  U Vermont:

- Interview Experience:
Incredibly warm and nice faculty.
- Program Advantages:
Burlington is a vacation city. The lake and mountains allow watersports, hiking, skiing, etc. Faculty is extremely nice and friendly, some are well known and one is even an editor of Radiographics.
- Program Disadvantages:
Medium-small program. Cases aren't as diverse as some other programs.

Wisconsin
  U Wisconsin:

Interviewers seemed pretty cold.
- Program Advantages:
Nice city. Good research.
- Program Disadvantages:
Low pay, poor benefits, no moonlighting. Faculty didn't seem to be very interactive.
