Ride the tram! worth the trip to Portland. Best hotel of any interview. Friendly, laid back attendings. Interviews were tailored to your interests.
- Program Advantages:
Universally strong in all subjects. Innovative CCM program. Dept. chair is head of RRC, so on bleeding edge of resident training. Faculty from Hopkins with excellent credentials and huge research oportunities. Connections.

Not an overwhelming number of heart cases.

Residents work like dogs. Huge program so they don't seem to know each other well.

- Program Advantages:
Best regional anywhere. Other programs with strong regional hold VM up as the gold standard. Do trauma and neuro at UW . Hours are good at VM.

Small program. Not many academic options.
