Interview Experiences okay, only place with 2 4 faculty with one student interviews A bit disorganized and long.. You only have two 15 minute panel interviews (5-6 ppl per panel), which I personally wasn't a huge fan of. I didn't feel like they had a chance to get to know me. Also, some panel members didn't even look up from their computers during my entire intervi Panel interviews 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Advantages only game in town and young faculty Reputation. Excellent faculty, fantastic resources (having the transplant center there is amazing - lots of GVHD, etc.), good exposure to Mohs, Dermpath. name, opportunities for fellowships, research funding good cosmetics exposure 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Disadvantages weaker in surgery and med derm Residents didn't seem very happy. The only thing I didn't like about UPMC was the interview. I think it is pretty intense and the residents work pretty hard Residents looked very busy Pittsburgh, residents do not seem happy 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
