Interview Experiences Very helpful people..friendly, I enjoyed it. PD seemed really bored with interviews (I visited in Jan). Not as enthusiastic as he prob was at the beginning of the season. 2 interviewers were more interested in exploring my strengths/weaknesses than telling me about/selling the program. Last inter good http://more.studentdoctor.net/viewresidency.php?residency=632 Very organized interview, residents seemed friendly as did PD and faculty. Good dinner night before, they pay for hotel. Most residents reported about 60-65 hours per week average. Great research standings, #5 in NIH dollars the year I interviewed, but Dinner night before. Tons of residents showed up even through a massive snowstorm. They all seemed very happy. Interviews with 3 Faculty members the next day. PD hired an education specialist so that he can teach the residents more effectively and got Presentation, lunch, than interviews.
Night before dinner is a lot of fun, they take you out to Rock Bottom and the other residents drink with you. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17

Program Disadvantages cold winters
might work a bit harder than a lot of other programs
PD seems a bit disinterested/cynical (see above) location Milwaukee none really. Cold winters, very long work hours (work horse program) 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
