Interview Experiences Half-day interview, with about 6 two on one interviews. It was the end of the season, tour was truncated, but the interviews were fine. The pairs make things interesting. awesome.....ranked #2, faculty are incredibly professional, expect lots of them to have read most of your app, residents are great at answering your questions, one of the most fun social events of the trail Great, another nice saturday interview. Nice to split up the day between university and children's. Lets you meet just about all the facutly. Great, met almost the entire faculty! 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Advantages Clearly peds is dominant (6 fellows!). This is the home of airway reconstruction. Residents all seem content with their training. Decent research opportunities. Well-balanced. Really nice facilities. all hospitals in one location, great resident culture, superior peds but also well-rounded, good experience at the VA, residents are extremely pleased with their program Peds, and some more peds. They still have representation and depth in everything else though. Buddy-call system is a nice touch. Very well rounded program, good head and neck and neurotology. Peds experience is unreal, second to none. Faculty and residents were great. All of the major hospitals are located in the same area, walking distance from each other. Chairmen and PD are e Strong surgical experience and peds 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Disadvantages Residents say otherwise, but I'm not sure how all that peds influences your training. They say its advantage and might be right. While not fair to the program, the city is a disadvantage to me. weak plastics I just didn't click that well with the residents, or the faculty for the most part, when I rotated here. city may be a disadvantage to some. Very stiff interviews 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
