Interview Experiences
New chair is a great guy.
GOOD
Fine, nothing really that standout
standard
-Very nice people -Relatively low stress except one interviewer who asked political type of questions that I wasn't expecting
Well organized, ran on time and smooth, interviews were informal mostly, had one question about a weak spot in my application,
Program Advantages
San Antonio is VERY affordable and lots of opportunities to use Spanish. Chair is a big advantage and I expect to program to get better and better.
Awesome PD
-Very organized and structured didactic schedule -High board pass rates (well above national averages)
Program Disadvantages
Wasn't too impressed with the facilities.
HOURS ARE TOO BRUTAL NO IN HOUSE MOONLIGHTING PAY IS LOWEST IN TEXAS
q4 calls, alot of trauma, not alot of didactics, cafeteria far away from OR
-Lacking in OB experience
