2 day interview with tour starting at noon on 1st day, actual interviews on 2nd day. Hotel paid for x2 nights, nice. Very welcoming and hospitable. They memorize your name before you walk through the door. Interviews low key. Two day interview process; Friday luncheon with presentation and tour of both hospitals (Emory's main campus as well as Grady). Chief residents and residency recruitment chairs were enthusiastic about the program. Overall, long but laid back and not high 2-day interview, but first day only for dinner and tour. Hotel was fantastic. 3 interviews, all very relaxed. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17

Everything was wonderful - would have ranked them #1 but it was too far from home.
Excellent hospital, great attendings, Atlanta is an amazing city, residents were happy! Atlanta is an amazing city. Seems well rounded. Graduates are well prepared clinically. Emory is a nationally recognized name. Very strong pediatrics, cardiac. Multiple hospitals to rotate through with variety of experiences Strong program overall with cardiac being its best rotation. Regional seemed great as well. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
Program Disadvantages Regional training seems weaker compared to other areas. None really, just wasn't what I was looking for. exocentric reblend monocyte tuberculid truthable prolongate failingness gurgly

NONE Rotate through 5-6+ different hospitals. Facilities are dated at both Emory U Hosp and Grady. Still rely heavily on paper charting (although transitioning). Call at Grady seems rough. The patient care areas of Grady look a bit like a prison. Regional/pain; No longer have any CCM trained faculty (other than cardiac faculty members). Limited SIM experiences.
ICU involvement isn't the best, but is improving. No moonlighting. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
