Interview Experiences Two interviews with strange attendings. Large group of interviewees. Amazing grand rounds by Baresh long. huge group of applicants. was put off by the 'yale' attitude from both residents and faculty. not a malignant interview though, and the people were nice exocentric reblend monocyte tuberculid truthable prolongate failingness gurgly

I had a great experience. Residents seemed very happy with their choice. Interviewed with two attendings and both were very nice. Did not interview with Barash. Excellent hotel and dinner. Residents loved the program. 2 interviews, both were relaxed. 2 interviews. Laid back. Very friendly staff and faculty Chairman, PD, and faculty sit with you in small groups so you can ask questions while people leave to do interviews. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17

Program Disadvantages Very limited pain management experience, and mandatory CA-3 rotations (including pain, only available during 3rd year). was not impressed by new haven, facilities generally old, not nice to look at. exocentric reblend monocyte tuberculid truthable prolongate failingness gurgly

New Haven. I wanted to be in an area where I can live in the 'burbs in the NE, so for me it is ideal. But, it does not offer the advantages of NYC or Boston. Only advanced positions right now, and the pre-lims at Yale are pretty rough. Pain rotation is weaker. Weak regional, pain and CCM. Not much to do in New Haven. Not as strong as the name. New haven
Location
New Haven (there is a bubble for Yale, but surrounding area isnt that safe), They dont offer all the fellowships available (on the flip side they arent taking cases away from the residents then), However they match wherever they want: Peds this year (S New Haven (there is a bubble for Yale, but surrounding area isnt that safe), They dont offer all the fellowships available (on the flip side they arent taking cases away from the residents then), However they match wherever they want: Peds this year (S New Haven isn't everyone's cup of tea. 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17 17
