If you want to live in a college town Columbia is as good as they come, very nice faculty who like to teach, good program if you have a family (less hours/stress and very livable city)

smaller program with average case numbers, perhaps some barriers to overcome if you want to go into academics (but if you're concerned about this just ask the attendings, I'm sure they'd give plenty of support if you're applying for fellowship)
