Interview Experiences
1:1 interviews with most of the faculty. Friendly atmosphere. Presentation by interim chair in the morning.
Four 1-1 interviews
Program Advantages
Surgical volume. Cool new eye institute being built for 2013. Can do eye exams at the VA your thrid year for some extra $$
Good surgical numbers, lots of autonomy, new/great facilities, new program director and chairman
Program Disadvantages
Nebraska. Small program. Apparently they'll invite applicants for a second interview if they are stronly considering them.
Small (2 residents a year), smaller faculty base, possibly Peds (though they are getting a peds doc soon)
