| Residents and faculty are very nice and friendly. Interviews were 10 minutes each and went by very quickly. |
- Program Advantages:

Dermatopathology- Dr. Smoller is well-known and is very good. They take 2 fellows a year. |
- Program Disadvantages:

| Only have 3 attendings, and the PD stated at interview that he was retiring later in the year with no replacement as of yet. One attending does Mohs, and he also is their dermatopathologist. |

| Galveston is still rebuilding and looks somewhat like a ghost town since Ike came through. They lost their children's hospital and have no plans to rebuild.
They do not rotate at a VA- lose a lot of valuable surgical experience. Compete with UT Houst |
