| The worst interview experience ever!! Applicants were left to sit in a conference room all day with no entertainment at all until their interviews. My interviews didn't start until 2:30, so I sat in the conference room from 9 AM until 2:30 - bored out o | - Program Advantages:

| Interview day is very LONG! You interview individually with every faculty member and every resident. Lunch was nice. Residents were friendly. | - Program Advantages:

| Galveston is still rebuilding and looks somewhat like a ghost town since Ike came through. They lost their children's hospital and have no plans to rebuild.
They do not rotate at a VA- lose a lot of valuable surgical experience. Compete with UT Houst |
