Interviews in the faculty offices at the Byers Eye Institute. Faculty and residents are close, make fun of each other and being their real selves. Ate burritos next to the chair and PD for lunch, very casual conversations, felt relaxed.
- Program Advantages:
Sunny, gorgeous area. Close to Stanford, San Francisco, San Jose. So access to whatever you are into: Diverse Pathology, Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship, surgical volume, Culture, Poor, Rich people. Faculty treat you with respect.
- Program Disadvantages:
Cost of a 1 bedroom in Palo Alto: $2200 to $3800 per month. $ 1400 with University subsidized housing.
